YBG is a free resource dedicated to educating and supporting anyone who wishes to have deeper connections through richer conversations. This all-volunteer project is in its infancy so your participation helps shape the content and mission. We hope you find benefit in our efforts and share the message with others. Much has been covered in the media about the increasing Loneliness Epidemic and Friendship Recession occurring in many countries. Two titles that influenced the early foundations of YBG are:

YBG is a collaborative effort that was started in March of 2024 by Jesse Karras with the help of his friends and support from his dad who provided much of the initial research.

YBG seeks to become a nonprofit in the future as it continues to grow. Any volunteer efforts or monetary donations will be used to raise awareness of this project and improve the content and user experience. We are currently seeking volunteer assistance in the following areas:

  • Content curation (research and writing)
  • Social media orchestration
  • App development and UI experience
  • Nonprofit planning and grant writing
  • Any other areas of suggestion
